Soapy Smith artisan soap is inspired by the historical novel "The Redemption of Mattie Silks" by Kimberly Burns. The soap is the olfactory companion to the tale of the Old West's most successful madam, Mattie Silks, and her feud with a murdering con man with the charming name of Soapy Smith.
This soap is scented with a complex fragrance blend of rum, tobacco, cinnamon, hay, a touch of citrus, and woody notes. It can transport one to a seat in a late 1800’s saloon, seated next to the notorious swindler Soapy Smith himself. It is naturally colored by activated charcoal and speckled with seeds of the poppy flower as a nod to the opium trade of the time. The top features gold mica-dusted salt to resemble gold nuggets in tribute to the gold mining towns Soapy and Mattie lived in.
Choose our classic white wrap-around label, a blue wrap like Soapy Smith used in the novel, or "naked" with no label at all.
